Meet Our Providers

Cathy Kurth, Au.D.
Doctor of Audiology | Owner
A true Midwesterner, Cathy grew up in Glenview, IL. She opened the Audiology and Hearing Aid Center in the 80’s and since then had opened offices in North Scottsdale and Central Phoenix. Cathy has been practicing audiology for more than 35 years. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Loyola University in Chicago and her masters of Audiology from the University of Illinois. She then went on to earn her Doctor of Audiology in 2002 from the Arizona School of Health Sciences, a division of A.T. Still University of Osteopathic Medicine
As an expert in her field, Cathy has spoken extensively on hearing healthcare, hearing technology, and the treatment of hearing disorders. She is licensed by the State of Arizona and is a member of the Academy of Dispensing Audiologists and of the American Academy of Audiology. Through her memberships, she maintains the highest level of knowledge, education, and familiarization with hearing loss, emerging technologies, and the changing needs of the hearing impaired.
Over a year ago, Cathy decided to retire from private practice. She soon realized her hobby and love was as an audiologist and she missed the wonderful people she had the joy of working with. In August 2023, Cathy opened Audiology of Scottsdale with two partners at a new location. Much has changed in hearing aid technology and Cathy looks forward to introducing the amazing choices to her patients. We look forward to you stopping by to meet our team and see our new office!
